Super thrilled to share our work on multiple trailers for Diablo Immortal.
Many of the people on our team are lifelong Diablo fans so this was a dream come true to work on this project and a one in a lifetime chance to dive into the dark world of Sanctuary to help create a new chapter of its lore. Every frame of these 2.5D cinematics were crafted by us, and can now be seen as full cinematic videos online.
All of this was possible thanks to Blizzard’s super detailed documentation, storyboard, and animatic, which gave us a clear vision to follow. After delivering a successful round of sketches, we were able to fine-tune the the details with Blizzard to match their iconic style, and delivered the illustrations you now see in the trailer.
